Applied Learning
My applied learning experiences have played a major role in developing my skills as a civil engineering student. Through internships and hands-on work, I have been able to apply what I learned in the classroom to real-world engineering projects.

Field Engineer Intern
As a Field Engineer Intern working on roadway and bridge rehabilitation, I participated in structural repairs such as deck patching, crack sealing, and beam end repairs.
I also assisted with inspections and helped generate deficiency reports used for project planning.
This experience helped me understand how engineering designs are implemented and maintained in the field.

CIVIL ENGINEER DESIGNER
I also worked as a Civil Engineer Site Designer Intern, where I assisted in creating site plans and utility layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D. In this role, I performed calculations related to stormwater runoff and pipe sizing, conducted site inspections, and supported the preparation of technical documents and permit applications. This experience strengthened my understanding of design, planning, and environmental considerations in engineering.
